2. Description of Service

I Need Specs is a document automation service that:

• Extracts model numbers from uploaded PDF invoices
• Searches for and retrieves publicly available specification sheets and installation manuals from manufacturer websites
• Compiles these documents into professional submittal packets

The Service automates the process of gathering publicly available product documentation that manufacturers provide for customer and contractor use.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload malicious files or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Third-Party Content

The specification sheets, installation manuals, and other product documentation compiled by the Service are:

• Created and owned by their respective manufacturers
• Publicly available documents provided by manufacturers for product information purposes
• Subject to the terms and conditions of their respective owners

I Need Specs does not claim ownership of any manufacturer documentation. We simply facilitate access to publicly available information.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That spec sheets will be available for all product models
• The accuracy or completeness of manufacturer documentation
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That downloaded documents are the most current versions

Users should verify critical specifications directly with manufacturers when making important decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I Need Specs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in product specifications, installation issues, or project delays.

8. User Content

• You retain ownership of any invoices or documents you upload
• You grant us a limited license to process your uploads for the purpose of providing the Service
• Uploaded invoices are processed and deleted after job completion
• You represent that you have the right to upload any documents you submit

9. Intellectual Property

• The I Need Specs platform, branding, and original content are our property
• Manufacturer documentation remains the property of respective manufacturers
• Your business logo and certifications remain your property

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
